The institute translated and adapted the original Dorling Kindersley Student Atlas and prepared a cartographic supplement on Slovenia comprised of the following chapters: Rock, Surface, Waters, Climate and Living World, Population, Settlements, and Economy. We also added the sections “Geographical Names,” containing translations of more than 100 terms used as parts of geographical names in various world languages, and “Geographical Terms,” containing short terminological explanations of approximately 130 terms most frequently used in the atlas. The atlas was reprinted in 2008.
