Creativity is nowadays getting more and more important on the way of establishing the knowledge society. The recent development paradigms increasingly mention it as a key factor of economic growth and development of cities, regions and the advanced market economies in general. The main purpose of the project was to analyse spatial distribution of creative class and creative industries in selected municipalities of Ljubljana urban region. The objectives of the research were as follows:
- to analyse spatial distribution of creative class at the level of Ljubljana urban region in comparison to other European regions;
- to analyse spatial distribution of creative class and creative industries in selected three municipalities of Ljubljana urban region (City of Ljubljana, Municipality Dobrova - Polhov Gradec and Municipality of Trzin);
- to compare spatial distribution of creative class and creative industries with selected indicators of economic development of municipalities;
- to analyse factors of spatial distribution of creative class at the level of Ljubljana urban region.
