Socioeconomic dynamics of space
We examine socioeconomic processes that reshape space at the local, regional, and broader levels. We are interested in the effects of globalization, the economy, culture, tourism, creative activities, and the transformation of industrial places, as well as demogeographic issues such as population ageing and the position of vulnerable groups. This field also includes the geography of sport and recreation, as well as social innovations through which communities seek new responses to development and social change.
