CALL FOR APPLICATION for a junior researcher at the Anton Melik Geographical Institute ZRC SAZU.

Dear colleagues!

The Anton Melik Geographical Institute will be announcing a vacancy for a junior researcher as part of the ZRC SAZU call for applications in late June 2022. The mentor will be Rok Ciglič, PhD., from the Department of Geographic Information Systems, who will be there to guide the junior researcher in exploring regional geography using modern geographic information systems.

So, if you are a “GIS wiz” at heart, interested in changes in the landscape and enjoy doing research in the field and at the computer, then simply click Join! Here is some initial information about the basic conditions for the job posting:
1. A master’s degree in geography and related subjects from a secondary-level study program adopted in the Republic of Slovenia after 11 June 2004,
2. An average mark of at least 8.00 (very good) in all exams and coursework,
3. Knowledge of at least one global language,
4. Category B driving licence.
