Europe

As part of working together with the National Geographic Society, we adapted its latest map of Europe. It was published in Slovenia as both an independent publication and a supplement to National Geographic Junior magazine, in which basic information on EU member states was also added in the map’s right-hand margin. Standardized Slovenian names of countries and original or adapted forms of oronyms, hydronyms, and toponyms were used in the map. Due to a large number of errors in the original English version, the map had to be thoroughly adapted.
