Spatial planning, conflicts, and participation
We engage in participatory research and planning. We study processes of climate change adaptation, equitable access to services, multi-level spatial governance, and mismatches between the functions, use, and perception of space. We are also interested in the conflicts that accompany these processes, as they reveal different interests, needs, and understandings of space. Questions of quality of life are also an important part of this field.
